Around 120 people attended the celebration which began at 4:30pm and concluded at 7:00pm. Program started with aarti, prayer, chant, and first part of meditation upto 5:30pm. A tribute from Sri Sri Daya Ma about our paramguru published in the Yogoda magazine on the occasion of his 150th birthday was also included in the reading.
Special focus was placed on Sri Yukteswarji's frequent exhortation: "Learn to behave". Passages and excerpts that explained and expanded on this topic were read from various YSS publications including Only Love by Sri Sri Daya Ma and Guruji's Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16. The reading concluded at 6:15pm.
Reading service was followed by a chant and meditation. Finally evening service came to an end with praying for others, closing prayer and pushpanjali at 7:00 pm, accompanied by a soulful rendition of "He Bhagavan". Devotees went home feeling uplifted.
